Job Summary:

Job Title: CST-OR
Duration: 14 weeks
Shift: Days- 8 Hours
Guaranteed Hours: 40hrs/week
Pay Rate: $58-$61/hr
As a Surgical Tech, you will assist in various surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, setting up surgical equipment, and assisting the surgical team during procedures. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be key in ensuring the safety and efficiency of surgical procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare the operating room by setting up surgical equipment and ensuring everything is sterile and ready for use.
- Assist surgeons during procedures by handing them instruments, holding tissue, and other tasks as needed.
- Maintain a sterile field throughout the procedure to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide support as necessary.
- Clean and restock the operating room after procedures are complete.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Completion of a surgical technology program or equivalent training.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment.
