Guaranteed Hours: 40hrs/week
Pay Rate: $44-$47/hr
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team specializing in Infectious Disease care. The ideal candidate will provide nursing care to patients affected by infectious diseases, under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. This role requires excellent clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform nursing assessments and develop individual care plans for patients with infectious diseases.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
3. Monitor patient's condition and response to treatments closely.
4. Educate patients and their families on infectious disease management and prevention.
5. Assist physicians with procedures and examinations related to infectious diseases.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
8. Ensure infection control protocols are followed at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current LPN license in the state of practice.
2. Previous experience in Infectious Disease care is preferred.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills.
6. CPR certification.
7. Knowledge of infectious disease management and prevention.
8. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
