Guaranteed Hours: 40hrs/week
Pay Rate: $35-$39/hr

BLS
ASCP, HEW or NCA certification required.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) with Surgical Services and Medical Assistant (MA) credentials for an exciting opportunity in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests, assisting in surgical procedures, and providing support to medical staff.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conducting routine and complex laboratory tests on patient samples
2. Analyzing test results and reporting findings to healthcare providers
3. Assisting in surgical procedures by preparing and sterilizing equipment
4. Providing support to healthcare providers during surgical procedures
5. Administering medications and injections as directed by medical staff
6. Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient information and test results
7. Ensuring compliance with laboratory safety guidelines and regulations
8. Participating in quality control and improvement initiatives
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree or certification in Medical Laboratory Technology
2. Certification as a Surgical Services Technician
3. Medical Assistant certification
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
7. Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
8. Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and computer systems
