Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to provide support and assistance to individuals and families in need. The Social Worker will work with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and connect them with resources in the community. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
2. Provide counseling and support to clients dealing with emotional, behavioral, or mental health issues.
3. Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources such as healthcare, housing, and employment.
4. Collaborate with other professionals, such as doctors, teachers, and social service agencies, to coordinate care for clients.
5. Keep detailed records of client interactions and progress toward treatment goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Social Work or related field.
- State licensure as a Social Worker or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- Knowledge of social work principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with diverse populations and cultural sensitivity.
