Job Title: Echo Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The Echo Technologist will be responsible for performing echocardiograms to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions. This individual will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform echocardiogram procedures on patients in accordance with established protocols
- Assist physicians in interpreting test results
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Follow safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Stay current on advances in echocardiography technology and techniques
Qualifications and Skills:
- Certified in echocardiography through a recognized program
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in performing echocardiograms
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
