Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at a Senior Assisted Living facility in Virginia. The CNA will provide direct care and support to elderly residents, helping them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
2. Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the nursing staff.
3. Help residents with mobility and transfers as needed.
4. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
5. Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
6. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
7. Follow care plans and instructions from nursing staff.
8. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Virginia.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
6. Compassion and empathy for the elderly.
7. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
