Pay Range: $70/hr to $80/hr

Job Description: Modoc Medical Center is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Med/Surg team for night shifts. As an RN in our Med/Surg unit, you will provide compassionate care to patients recovering from surgery, injuries, or acute illnesses. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing and evaluating patients' health status
• Developing and implementing nursing care plans
• Administering medications and treatments
• Monitoring and recording patient vital signs
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Educating patients and their families on healthcare needs
• Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of California
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med/Surg nursing preferred
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
