We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical (Med Surg) unit in a healthcare facility in Colorado. The RN will be responsible for providing quality patient care, managing medication administration, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the Med Surg unit
- Administering medications and treatments following physician orders
- Monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes to the healthcare team
- Educating patients and families on their care plans and recovery processes
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
- Adhering to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and quality of care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state of Colorado
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med Surg setting
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
- Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills
