Shift: Days and Mid-Shift
Pay Rate: $55-$60/hr
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing direct patient care in emergency situations. This includes assessing patients, implementing treatment plans, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assess and prioritize patient needs in emergency situations
2. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
3. Monitor and record patient vital signs
4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members
5. Participate in emergency response team activities
6. Educate patients and families about their conditions and treatment plans
7. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current RN license in the state of practice
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting
3. BLS and ACLS certification
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
6. Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
7. Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
