Job Title: Surgical Technologist - Sterile Supply - Neurosurgery
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our Neurosurgery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all surgical instruments and supplies are sterile and ready for use during surgical procedures. This role will require attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and supplies for neurosurgical procedures
2. Maintain a clean and organized sterile supply area
3. Assist in the setup and breakdown of surgical equipment before and after procedures
4. Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment
5. Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies as needed
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
7. Keep accurate records of instrument sterilization and supply inventory
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
2. Previous experience working in a neurosurgery setting preferred
3. Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and sterilization techniques
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
5. Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
6. Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols and procedures
