Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
Job Summary:
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide nursing care to patients in a healthcare setting under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. The LVN will assist with patient assessments, administer medications, perform wound care, and educate patients on their health condition and treatment plans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct patient assessments and document findings
2. Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
3. Perform wound care and dressings
4. Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormal findings
5. Educate patients on their health conditions and treatment plans
6. Assist with medical procedures and treatments
7. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Current LVN license in the state of California
2. CPR certification
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
5. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
