Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary: As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct patient care and support to elderly or disabled individuals in various healthcare settings. You will assist with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring the well-being of patients under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.
2. Help patients with mobility challenges to move around and perform exercises.
3. Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
4. Assist with feeding and medication administration as needed.
5. Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
6. Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients.
7. Report any changes in patients' condition to the nursing staff or supervisor.
8. Adhere to all healthcare protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
3. Current CPR certification.
4. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
6. Compassionate and empathetic demeanor.
7. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
8. Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
