Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility in Tennessee. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse and assist residents with activities of daily living.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist residents with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting.
2. Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate.
3. Assist with medication reminders and ensure residents take their prescribed medications.
4. Help residents with mobility and transferring from beds to chairs.
5. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
6. Follow care plans and communicate any changes in residents' condition to the nursing team.
7. Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents.
8. Follow all safety and infection control protocols.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Tennessee.
2. High school diploma or GED.
3. CPR certification.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work well in a team environment.
6. Compassionate and patient demeanor.
7. Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred.
