Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) or Surgical Scrub (SS) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care during surgical procedures in the operating room. This role requires excellent communication and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and monitoring patients before, during, and after surgery
- Assisting the surgical team during procedures
- Administering medications as necessary
- Ensuring sterile techniques are maintained in the operating room
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN licensure or certification as a Surgical Scrub
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the operating room setting
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented environment
