Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic team. The ER RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing and triaging patients upon arrival
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitoring patient progress and responding to changes in condition
- Educating patients and their families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
- Adhering to hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and privacy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Current RN license in the state of HI
- 2+ years of experience working in an emergency room setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
