Location: Pittsfield, MA
Facility: Berkshire Health System
Shift Information: Must be able to cover alternate shifts and locations in Pittsfield:

• 7:45am-4:15pm
• 8:15am-4:45pm
• 8:30am-5:00pm
• 8:45am-5:15pm
  Pay Range: $20-$25 per hour
  Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
  Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of current CMA experience

Job Description:

Berkshire Health System is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our clinic team in Pittsfield, MA. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment and contribute to the delivery of quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures
• Perform basic clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and specimen collection
• Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with clinic protocols and procedures
• Provide patient education and support as needed

Requirements:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience working as a CMA in a clinical setting
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to varying workloads and patient needs
• Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
