Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical Telemetry (M/S Tele) unit. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care and support in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs and telemetry readings
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare issues and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical/surgical or telemetry nursing
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
