Job Title: Med/Surg/Telemetry Nurse
Location: Gardner, MA
Shift: Nights, 11PM-7:30AM 32 hr guaranteed
Duration 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Med/Surg/Telemetry Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care on our medical-surgical and telemetry units. This individual will be skilled in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Monitor and administer medications as prescribed
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
- Perform routine and emergency procedures as needed
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
