Job Title: Outpatient Physical Therapist
Location: Wichita Falls, TX
Shift: 8:30AM-5:30PM 36hr guarantee
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in an outpatient setting, working to improve their mobility, relieve pain, and promote overall wellness. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others achieve their physical therapy goals.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs
- Develop personalized treatment plans to address individual patient goals and conditions
- Implement treatment interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes
- Educate patients on home exercises and self-management techniques to facilitate ongoing improvement
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- CPR certification
