Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Fitchburg, MA
Shift: Mon-Fri, Days
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services to patients. Your primary goal will be to help patients recover from injuries and illnesses and improve their overall physical well-being.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
2. Monitor patients' progress and report back to the therapist.
3. Help patients perform exercises and activities designed to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility.
4. Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for rehabilitation.
5. Assist in maintaining patient records and documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
2. Current certification as a PTA.
3. SNF Experience preferred
4. New Grad are okay.
5. Knowledge of physical therapy principles and techniques.
6. Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
7. Current CPR certification.
8. Attention to detail and patience with patients.
