Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Sugar Land, TX
Shift: Monday- Friday
Days: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
As a Physical Therapist, you will assess and treat patients with physical limitations due to injury, disability, or illness. You will create personalized treatment plans to help patients improve mobility, manage pain, and regain strength. Your goal will be to assist patients in achieving their optimal level of physical function.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct thorough assessments to determine patients' physical limitations and create individualized treatment plans.
2. Implement various physical therapy techniques and modalities to help improve patients' mobility, strength, and range of motion.
3. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
4. Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue their progress outside of therapy sessions.
5. Document patients' progress and maintain accurate records.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
7. Stay current on advancements in physical therapy techniques and treatments.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (required)
2. Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of practice (required)
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Strong problem-solving abilities
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform hands-on therapy techniques
7. Compassion and empathy for patients
