Job Title: RN Medical Surgery
Location: Wenatchee, WA
Shift: 12 hr Evenings/Nights 7:00 pm - 7:30 am
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgery team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support to individuals undergoing surgical procedures. This role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing patients' medical conditions and developing individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring and recording patients' vital signs and progress before and after surgery
- Assisting with surgical procedures and providing post-operative care
- Educating patients and their families about recovery procedures and follow-up care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgery or related field
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care
