Shift: Night 6p-6a (36 guaranteed)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum Nursery team. The ideal candidate will provide support and care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and nursery stages.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess mothers and babies during labor and delivery
- Provide postpartum care and education to new mothers
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assist with breastfeeding and newborn care
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for mothers and babies
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Previous experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, and nursery settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
