Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team. The Charge Nurse will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and implementing hospital policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent clinical knowledge, and a passion for providing compassionate care to patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervise and direct the nursing staff on the unit
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Assess and monitor the quality of patient care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff
- Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Participate in staff meetings and trainings
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge
- CPR certification
- Strong problem-solving abilities
