Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Honakaa, HI
Shift: 7 days per week departmental coverage - 5 day work week
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will assess and treat patients who are recovering from injuries or surgeries, as well as those with chronic conditions. The goal is to help patients improve their mobility, relieve pain, and restore function.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate and diagnose patients' physical conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve mobility and prevent further injury
- Use therapeutic techniques, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation
- Monitor and document patients' progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Qualifications:
- Must have a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- State licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Experience working in a clinical setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to empathize with patients and motivate them to reach their goals
Skills:
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Ability to analyze and interpret data
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop and implement treatment plans
