Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Brownwood, TX
Shift: M - f 8 hour day shift (36 guaranteed)
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the Cardiologists in performing cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other invasive procedures. The Cath Lab Technologist will operate specialized imaging equipment and provide patient care during procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment and supplies
- Assist in preparing patients for procedures
- Operate fluoroscopy equipment during procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and assist in emergency situations
- Assist Cardiologists in performing catheterizations and angioplasties
- Document and maintain accurate records of procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree or certification in cardiovascular technology
- ARRT or RCIS certification
- 2+ years of experience working in a cardiac cath lab
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
