Job Title: CT Tech
Location: Midland, TX
Shift: Mon-Fri evenings 3pm to 11:30am (40 guaranteed)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT Tech to join our team and provide high-quality imaging services to patients. The CT Tech will operate CT scanning equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively with patients during procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures and positioning patients correctly.
2. Operate CT scanning equipment to capture high-quality images.
3. Monitor patients during scans to ensure their safety and comfort.
4. Collaborate with radiologists to analyze and interpret imaging results.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all hospital protocols.
6. Keep imaging equipment clean and properly maintained.
7. Stay current on advances in CT scanning technology and techniques.
8. Provide excellent patient care and ensure a positive experience for all patients.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
2. ARRT certification in CT scanning.
3. State licensure as a CT Technologist.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
6. Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
