Shift: Day Shift 630a to 1900 p 36hr guarantee
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant in a Skilled Nursing Facility, you will provide direct patient care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Your role is crucial in assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of all residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Take and record vital signs accurately.
3. Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
4. Assist with feeding residents and ensuring they receive proper nutrition.
5. Help residents with mobility and transfers.
6. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
7. Follow care plans and adhere to facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Active CNA certification in the state of employment.
2. High school diploma or equivalent.
3. CPR certification.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Compassionate and patient demeanor.
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Prior experience in a long-term care facility is preferred.
