Shift: Night 7P-7A 36 hours Guaranteed
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Telemetry Med/Surg unit. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in need of medical and surgical interventions, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor patients' telemetry readings and report any abnormalities to healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and self-care techniques
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in telemetry med/surg nursing
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
