Job Title: RN Med Surg Adult
Location: Zanesville, OH
Shift: Nights (7p - 7:30a)
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med-Surg Adult unit. As a Med-Surg RN, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care for patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes to the medical team
- Educating patients and their families on disease management and treatment plans
- Ensuring patient safety and compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of employment
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care
