Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide comprehensive therapy services to patients with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities. The goal of the Occupational Therapist is to help individuals achieve their maximum level of independence and improve their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct assessments to determine patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
2. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' ability to perform daily activities
3. Provide education and training to patients and their families on how to maximize function and independence
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
5. Keep detailed and accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans
6. Stay current on best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of occupational therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
2. Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Excellent problem-solving abilities
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
6. Experience working with a diverse population of patients
