Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: York, ME
Shift: 36 hours per week - 3 - 9's and 1 -12 hour shift
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The primary role of the Radiologic Technologist is to perform imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of radiology equipment and procedures, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and position them for optimal imaging results
- Operate radiologic equipment to capture images of the patient's internal structures
- Follow safety protocols to ensure patients and staff are protected from radiation exposure
- Evaluate images for quality and ensure all necessary images are captured for accurate diagnosis
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all procedures are properly documented
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging results
- Stay current on advancements in radiologic technology and procedures
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification
- State licensure or certification as required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
