Job Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Rutland, VT
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist will assist patients in regaining movement and managing pain through therapeutic exercises, hands-on techniques, and specialized equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Evaluate patients' physical abilities and create individualized treatment plans
2. Implement treatment plans using a variety of techniques and modalities
3. Monitor and track progress of patients throughout treatment
4. Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to improve mobility
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
7. Stay current on latest research and trends in physical therapy
8. Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality of patient information
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
2. State licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist
3. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Experience working with patients of all ages and physical conditions
7. CPR certification
8. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
