Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Speech Therapist to join our team and provide therapeutic services to individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. The Speech Therapist will assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans to help improve clients' speech and language abilities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting initial evaluations to assess clients' speech and language abilities
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
- Implementing therapy techniques to improve clients' communication and swallowing skills
- Monitoring and evaluating clients' progress throughout therapy
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care for clients
- Providing education and support to clients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of current practices and techniques in speech therapy
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
