Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images of patients' internal organs, tissues, and bones. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MRI technology and protocols, along with excellent patient care skills.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Position patients correctly and ensure their safety and comfort during procedures
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnoses
- Maintain detailed records of patients' imaging procedures
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure a sterile environment in the MRI suite
- Educate patients on the imaging process and answer any questions they may have
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
- ARRT certification and state licensure as an MRI Technologist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an MRI Technologist
- Strong knowledge of MRI technology and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in image production
