Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will work with patients of all ages who have communication and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech pathology and experience working in a clinical setting.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Evaluate patients’ speech and language abilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve communication skills
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and their families on communication strategies
- Keep detailed records of patient progress
- Stay up-to-date on new research and techniques in the field
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with a diverse population
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
