Job title: Floor Nurse
Shift: Days 7a-7p
Location: Chillicothe, OH
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
As a Floor Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care on a designated unit within a healthcare facility. You will work closely with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients to ensure the delivery of high-quality, personalized care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform physical exams and health assessments
2. Administer medications and treatments
3. Monitor patient vital signs and other indicators of health
4. Educate patients and their families on care techniques and disease prevention
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
6. Document patient care activities and progress
7. Respond to medical emergencies as needed
8. Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license
2. BSN or related degree preferred
3. CPR certification
4. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to work well in a team environment
7. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
8. Attention to detail and accuracy
9. Ability to multitask and prioritize patient care tasks
10. Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
