Job Summary:
As an RN in Long Term Care (LTC), you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients in a residential setting. You will assess patient needs, develop care plans, administer medications, and monitor patient progress. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care for all residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Assessing and monitoring patients' medical conditions
2. Developing and implementing care plans
3. Administering medications and treatments
4. Managing patient care in collaboration with other healthcare professionals
5. Documenting patient progress and updating medical records
6. Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
7. Responding to emergencies and providing urgent care as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Minimum of 1 year experience in long term care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
