Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to work with patients to help them improve their ability to perform daily tasks and activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and evaluating progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments to identify patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Implement therapeutic interventions to help patients improve their functional abilities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to facilitate independence
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare team members as needed
- Stay current on best practices and advancements in the field of occupational therapy
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice guidelines
- Dedication to continuing education and professional development
