Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Zanesville, OH
Shift: Nights
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our medical team. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols. They will work closely with physicians to provide high-quality patient care and will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of ultrasound images for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform ultrasound procedures including abdominal, pelvic, obstetrical, vascular, and musculoskeletal scans
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Prepare and maintain equipment for optimal performance
- Record and maintain accurate patient records and images
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret and communicate results
- Stay current on industry best practices and participate in continuing education opportunities
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Adhere to all safety and privacy regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree or certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification preferred
- CPR certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
