Job Title: LPN LTC (Licensed Practical Nurse - Long Term Care)
Location: Gunnison, CO
Shift: Night/Day
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
The LPN LTC is responsible for providing nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility. This includes administering medications, monitoring patients' vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living. The LPN LTC works closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and comfort of residents.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the Registered Nurse
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program
- Current LPN license in the state of practice
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents
- Prior experience in long-term care is preferred
