Job Title: Surgical Technologist
Location: Duluth, MN

Job Summary:
A Surgical Technologist plays a crucial role in operating rooms by assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures. They are responsible for preparing and organizing operating rooms, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring a safe and sterile surgical environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up surgical instruments and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and supplies
- Maintain a sterile field by following proper procedures for sterilization and infection control
- Prepare patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites
- Monitor patients during surgery and assist with positioning and anesthesia
- Clean and sterilize equipment and instruments after each procedure
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a surgical technology program or certification
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and multitask effectively
