Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) PACU
Location: Morton, WA
Shift: Monday - Thursday 10 Hour Shifts
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia. The RN PACU will assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and provide patient education as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Provide post-operative care to patients in the PACU
2. Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs
3. Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
4. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care
5. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care instructions
6. Maintain accurate and updated medical records
7. Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license in the state of practice
2. Prior experience in PACU or critical care setting preferred
3. BLS and ACLS certification
4. Strong critical thinking and communication skills
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
6. Excellent patient care and clinical skills
