Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The Occupational Therapist will work with patients to help them develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. This role involves assessing individuals, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to support their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conducting evaluations to assess patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional capabilities
- Developing individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals
- Providing therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities and independence
- Educating patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to support daily activities
- Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records of treatment sessions
Qualifications and Skills:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and equipment used in occupational therapy
