Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. The Occupational Therapist will work with patients to help them develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, patient, and committed to providing high-quality care to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Provide individualized occupational therapy treatment plans to patients
2. Evaluate patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
3. Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving daily living skills
4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
6. Stay current on the latest research and trends in occupational therapy
7. Participate in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
2. Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
3. Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Strong problem-solving abilities
6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment
7. Compassionate and patient disposition
