Shift: 11PM-7:30AM
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Med/Surg to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical unit, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring patient conditions and responding to any changes in condition
- Educating patients and their families on healthcare and treatment plans
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhering to policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- BSN or ADN from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Med/Surg setting
- BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
