Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Location: Glendive, MT
Shift: 3 days a week, 12-hour days
Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with breathing disorders and providing specialized care to improve lung function and quality of life.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify and evaluate respiratory conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with chronic respiratory diseases
- Monitor and adjust ventilators and other life support equipment
- Educate patients and their families on managing respiratory conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of current respiratory therapy techniques and equipment
