Job Title: Cath Lab/EP RN
Location: State College, PA
Shift: 10 hr day shifts - 4 shifts per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cath Lab/EP RN to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions and perform a variety of procedures in the catheterization and electrophysiology labs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist physicians with patient assessments, examinations, and procedures in the catheterization and electrophysiology labs
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide appropriate care and support
- Administer medications and IVs as needed
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results
- Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and medications
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab or electrophysiology lab
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
