Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on the 2 East Neuro/Stroke/Med/Surg unit. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with neurological conditions, stroke, and medical/surgical needs. You will work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and provide treatments as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatments, and self-care practices
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Follow hospital policies and procedures to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices in neurology, stroke, and medical/surgical nursing
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license in the state of [State]
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in neurology, stroke, or medical/surgical nursing
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
