Shift: Mon-Fri, Days (32 guaranteed)
Duration: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients who have physical, mental, or developmental disabilities to help them improve their ability to perform daily activities and lead independent lives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine their occupational therapy needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' functional limitations
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' motor skills, balance, coordination, and independence
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for managing daily activities
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- State licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
